These are weapon grade true full tang swords. and a hybrid of the Flagship and Tomb Warrior lines of swords. Best of both worlds: These weapons are full-tang, full-handled swords. They have the angled handle for more power and bio-mechanical alignment of the wrist. They have the ability to chop, stab, slice and trap effectively. They have the spiked D-Guard from the Wing Chun Warrior's Tomb to help keep weapons from slipping under the guard and add penetration power to punches. Wing Chun Butterfly Swords - Full Tang Flagship / Tomb Warrior Line Hybrid
(Wing Chun Butterfly Knives, Bart Jarm Do, Hudiedao)

These are weapon grade true full tang swords. Blade is a 12" hybrid chopper/stabber and is made in Austrian D2 Tool Steel with a lenticular grind. D-Guard is AISI 304 stainless hot drop forged. This model is not sharpened. It is a hybrid of the Flagship and Tomb Warrior lines of swords with custom file work on the D-Guard.

Blade Steel: High-Quality Austrian D2 Tool Steel (please keep blade waxed or oiled to prevent rust)
Blade Grind: Lenticular Grind.
Blade Sharpness: Blunt 1-2 mm edge.

Blade Ricasso/Choil: These swords have a Ricasso.
Blade Fuller: These swords have a fully functional fuller (blood groove).
Blade Tapers: These swords have profile and distal tapes for improved function and balance.

Tang: True Full Tang (exposed/visible - please keep exposed tang waxed or oiled to prevent rust).
D-Guard Metal: AISI 304 Stainless Steel.
Knuckle-Bow: Tomb Warrior Design - Square with Spike.

Handle Material: Black/Silver Laminated Stabilized Wood (designed to prevent cracking over time).
Handle Angle/Alignment: Angled Handle. Aligned to tip and spine for more powerful chopping and stabbing.
Handle Shape: Bellied Ergonomic.
Handle Type: Full Handles (see pictures)
Flipping vs Trapping: Quillon is designed for trapping only: Sword can easily trap other weapons, but is not good for flipping the swords into reverse grip. (It depends on hand size).

Sword Measurements: Overall approx 17 inches (43 cm). Blade approx 12 inches (30.5 cm). Belly approx 2.625 inches. Base approx 2.25 inches. Handle approx 3.5 inches (8.9 cm).
Sword Weight: Combat Weight - 900 grams (about 2 lbs) each sword. Paired swords are generally within 10 grams (0.35 oz) of each other. Because they are hand made, sword pairs can vary in weight up to approx 50 grams in either direction.

Notes: These swords are hand-made. No two swords are perfectly identical. Small variations in the measurements are typical. Please read #2 under "Things you should know" and "Not Product Defects" under the warranty for more information.

Case/Sheath: Free nylon sheathes will be provided by EWC for these swords. Sheaths are offered as free gifts and are given to you "as-is".
