Ultimate Wing Chun Butterfly Swords - Flagship Line, Tough-As-Hell Model
Blade Style: Chopper Blade
Blade Length: Approx 13 inches (28 cm) (These blades can be up to 3/8 inch longer)
Blade Steel: High-Quality Hammered 9260 Combat Spring Steel (which is also used for high-quality katanas).
Blade Grind: Lenticular Grind (for edge strength) with a Hollow Grind bevel (for looks).
Blade Sharpness: "Sharp" [EWC Note: The forge messed up when making these swords; they sharpened them before the powder coat, not afterwards like they were supposed to. What this did is put a couple layers of coating over the sharp edge essentially making them blunt again. If you file away the powder coat the blade underneath will be sharp, and these swords can be sharpened, unlike the blunt models - but when you receive them the blades will not have a cutting edge. If you do re-sharpen them please take care not to chip away the powder coat, you will want to first file towards the edge until it is removed, then re-sharpen normally. Price was reduced in order to compensate for this.]
Blade Finish: Black Matte Powder-Coat
Handle Material: Laminated Stabilized Wood (designed to prevent cracking over time).
