WING CHUN SWORDS: Swords in 5 layer San Mai Damascus with Damascus D-Guard and Pommel (Model aka "Proving Ground")

UNIQUE: These full-tang swords were made by a new forge. When this forge asked us to carry their products they had never done a set of butterfly swords before. So we asked them for a Damascus blade set with Damascus D-guard of their own design - it is great way to see the skill level of the blade masters. This set will not be remade, it is unique.

Specs:
Blade Length: 12 inches, belly 2.25 inches
Handle Length: approx 5.25 grippable area.
Overall Length: 18.5 inches to tip of butt cap.
Steels: 1095 center core. 15N20 second layer of San Mai. Damascus (3rd layer on each side) is 55 layers of 1095 and 15N20. Damacus Pattern is "Random".
Quillion: Trapping only. It is narrow compared to most. Damascus Steel
Handle Material: G10.
Handle Design: The handle finger placement doesn't fit everyone perfectly (finger indents never do). We think these might slightly favor those with larger hands and the indents favor holding the handle close the top guard.
Sheath: Two 2-in-1 sheathes are included. You actually get both the Samurai and the plum flower sheathes pictured. Both are 2-in-1, so you can use whichever you want.
Weight: approx 735 grams/each. They are well balanced and feel light in the hand.
