Dit Da Jow - Plum Dragon - White Dragon Iron Palm - (Pre-Aged) 4 oz
Type: Healing Jow
Use/Description: This potent recipe of 26 herbs addresses connective tissue, joints, and bones to build a strong iron palm foundation. Mildly warming in action, this dit da jow recipe opens and warms circulating channels, strengthens bone and relaxes sinew. It protects the hand during training and stimulates a healing response associated with trauma. Many of the herbs are also cooked in various ways to enhance action and allow full extraction of herbal components.
This Iron Palm dit da jow recipe uses traditionally well-known herb combinations and cooking methods to counteract arthritis/rheumatism, Bi Syndrome, and heal/strengthen bone/sinew. With several ounces of herbs such as Xu Duan, Qin Jiao, and Ji Xue Teng, this formula is designed for iron palm/body training and very popular with customers for counteracting arthritic problems.
Appropriate for beginner and intermediate levels of iron palm training, and sufficient for use with any striking medium prior to steel/lead shot.
A Top 5 Jow: White Dragon Iron Palm Jow has become a staple for Iron Palm training below the advanced stage and as such is the intro liniment often touted for Iron Palm and other bag conditioning work. The synergism between its list of less rare ingredients create a very effective mildly warming action to heal and strengthen in a smooth and thick liniment that absorbs nicely and has a wonderful aromatic property to it. It is much less likely to cause skin irritation than other stronger liniments, and fills the gap that exists in the market for more beginner to intermediate formulas.
White Dragon is decently effective for standard injuries but lacks the focused direction towards these injuries that Ho Family and Bruise Juice are very powerful for. It is most useful for keeping the joints and fascia of the hands and wrists healthy during Iron Palm work. It is not as strong as other Iron Palm liniments like Ancestors Advanced or the Level 2 Hung Gar formula, but it does a fantastic job for Iron Palm training prior to a level in which one strikes lead or steel shot bags with force. At advanced stages when the hands have hardened significantly, many customers opt to continue using White Dragon due to its unique aroma and feel on the skin. If training is approached slowly, White Dragon may be acceptable for advanced Iron Palm training; although, something stronger at the advanced stage is probably more prudent. White Dragon is also quite effective for limb knocking and other softer conditioning methods. Customers who are partaking in both limb knocking and other conditioning in addition to Iron Palm can often get away with using White Dragon for both activities until conditioning needs move to a higher level.
