The Mae Mai forms are universal principles of combat: each technique can be learned according to a basic version, but it must be practiced with special attention at the many existing variants, encoded by the Grand Masters of the past. The different applications must be trained according to the principles of traditional footwork, to allow the practitioner to perform them against attacks from the four directions and not just from the front.
In this second instructional video, Arjarn Marco De Cesaris focuses the technical analysis on the performance of the basic sequence and the training of the advanced movements (Footwork), and the application of Mae Mai techniques nr.8 to 15.
An endless wealth of technical actions of attack, defense and counterattack, which every good practitioner should know perfectly.
