The Acosta style is recognized as one of the most aggressive and fastest of the Canary Islands, where each family clan developed its particular style. It is characterized by the central grip of the staff, which facilitates the use of the two ends, and the predominance of the short distance game, at times crouched in order to surprise the opponent. The hands never cross and the continuous changes offer greater mobility and harmony.
