Maltese Close Combat is a fighting method without rules that comes from the synthesis of the most efficient martial arts systems, such as Kali, Silat and Jeet Kune Do, in addition to combat methods at short distance with empty hands, knife and chance weapons. In this second volume, professor Maltese, magnificent researcher and expert in self-defense, will show us combat against knife.
You can study how to intercept an armed attack with the point as well as direct cuts in the principle trajectories, applying 15 of the 30 leverage holds that form the basic system for disarming, counter-attacking, and throwing the adversary to the ground. At the same time, you will learn how to confront the situation known as "deadlock" - a temporary interruption of combat in which both parties armed with knife grab one another simultaneously - and ground fighting with knife, when the adversary is on top of us. An excellent project to deepen our understanding of this efficient system of self-defense.
