This fourth volume of Bugei Encyclopedia talks about the study of Shuriken, a surprising artefact that requires a sophisticated technique but, once mastered, it provides great advantages in combat.
Training the art of Shuriken requires a lot of discipline and concentration, persistence and patience. Although they may look simple, the throwing techniques require a huge internal control, which is 50% of the successful throwing.
The technique of Shurikenjutsu of Ogawa shown in this work by Shidoshi Jordan comes originally from Ganritsu Ryu, a style which was founded around 1624 and that influenced the main Bugei schools.
