We will talk about the many benefits of long pole exercises and how (at a later date) we will look at how the long pole theories, training, and applications truly reflects the Wing Chun theory and Wing Chun combat applications.

The first phase of long pole development is usually the hardest one - strengthening exercises and preparing you for the form. We have many different types of exercises that will help you prepare the articulations/joints for future applications.

Don't be in a rush. We need the time to build up your body so it can adapt to the stress. Overuse of these exercises can lead to having joint inflammation and pain - so be careful PLEASE!
